Maintenance mode
Section titled “Maintenance mode”At the top of Admin › Settings. Use it before work on servers or storage.

Enter a Reason

Optionally set when it Resumes by itself - in your time zone
Leave the date empty to keep the pause until somebody resumes.

Decide whether anybody who may run a plan may still start one by hand

Click Pause scheduled runs
Every schedule pauses: its runs are recorded as skipped, queued automatic runs wait, and runs already working finish. Every page shows a maintenance banner.

When done, click Resume scheduled runs
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Settings are grouped by area. Change a value, give a reason, and Save changes. The audit log keeps the value before and after - so the settings screen is also a record of who loosened what.
Four-eyes administration
Section titled “Four-eyes administration”When it is switched on, destructive changes - deleting a plan or a storage target, shortening a retention policy, relaxing an encryption policy - wait on Admin › Approvals for a second administrator. They are carried out exactly as asked once approved, or refused with a reason.
