Discover databases

  1. Open Infrastructure › Discovery and pick a Server

  2. Click Run discovery

    The scan looks in containers and on the host. It reports what it found and how sure it is.

  3. Review each candidate

    Every row shows the database, where it was found, the evidence, a confidence, and the names of variables that may hold a password - never their values.

  4. Accept or reject

    Accept opens a short form: instance name, user and password - then the instance is registered and tested. Reject hides a candidate; Show rejected brings it back.
