Draft — under legal review
This is a working draft published ahead of launch. It will be replaced by the final text approved by our lawyer before any sale is made.
INTELLIENS INFOCOM LLP (“we”, “us”) makes Xtic. This policy explains what personal data we process through the website xtic.in, the customer portal my.xtic.in, licence check-ins and our e-mails, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We never receive your backups. Xtic runs on your own infrastructure; the data you back up never reaches us. For that data, you are responsible, not us.
- The website sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party trackers. We count visits with cookieless analytics.
- We send marketing e-mail only if you ticked the box for it, and every such e-mail has a one-click unsubscribe link.
What we collect
| Where | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Website forms (waitlist, newsletter, contact, demo, partner) | E-mail address; name, company, country and your message when the form asks for them; the campaign link you arrived from; the version of the consent text you saw | To answer you, and — with your consent — to send you e-mail about Xtic |
| Customer portal (my.xtic.in) | Account details, organisation and billing details (including GSTIN), sign-in and security events | To provide the account, bill you and keep the account secure |
| Licence check-ins | Licence ID, installation ID, Xtic version, counts of protected servers and users | To validate the licence; no backup content, no hostnames, no personal data |
| Support | What you tell us in tickets and e-mails | To solve the problem |
Legal basis
We rely on your consent for marketing e-mail, and on the contract with you, legal obligations (for example tax records) and other legitimate uses permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 for everything else. For contacts in the European Union, the corresponding bases of the GDPR apply.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose: for example, form submissions that did not lead to a conversation are deleted after a limited period, and invoices are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. A scheduled job enforces these periods.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers (sub-processors) — for hosting, e-mail delivery, payments and security checks on forms. The list is published at /legal/subprocessors once the services go live.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent at any time (unsubscribing is one click), raise a grievance, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. Write to privacy@xtic.in; we verify your identity before acting on a request.
